Without an account

The words you keep, your review history and your reading place are stored in your own browser. We count visits without cookies, using a code that changes every day and cannot be traced back to you. Visitors in Europe are asked before Google Analytics is used; elsewhere it measures which pages are read, with advertising features switched off.

With an account

When you sign in with Google we store your email address, name and profile picture, the words you keep and your review history, so that they follow you across devices. If you become a member, Stripe stores your payment details and tells us your plan and renewal date; we never receive your card number.

What we do not do

We do not show advertising, sell data or share it with anyone except the services that run the site: Cloudflare (hosting), Google (sign-in and analytics), Stripe (payments) and the AI provider that writes sentence explanations, which receives only the Latin text being explained.
