Trevidon

Trevidon a place in Gallia, mentioned by Sidonius Apollinaris (Propempt.), the position of which is partly determined by the fact of the poet fixing Trevidon in the mountainous region of Central France, and partly by the existence of a place named Trève on the boundary of the old province of Rouergue, and on a little river named Trevesel. The mountain in which the Trevesel rises (Lesperou) is the Vicinum nimis heu! jugum Rutenis

of Sidonius. [RUTENI] [G.L]
