Sittocatis

Σιττόκατις

Sittocatis (Σιττόκατις, Arrian Ind. chap. 4), a navigable river, which, according to Arrian, flowed into the Ganges. It has been conjectured by Mannert that it is the same as the present Sind, a tributary of the Jumna, near Rampur (v. pt. i. p. 69).
