Sitomagus

Sitomagus a town of the Iceni or Simeni, in the E. part of Britannia Romana. (Itin. Ant. p. 480.) Camden (p. 456) identifies it with Thetford in Norfolk, whilst others seek it at Stowmarket, Southwold, and Saxmundham. In the Tab. Peut. it is erroneously written Sinomachus.
