Sestinum

Sestinum (Eth. Sestinas: Sestino), a town in the interior of Umbria, mentioned only by Pliny, who enumerates the Sestinates among the towns of that region (Plin. Nat. 3.14. s. 19; Gruter, Inscr. p. 108. 7), but which still retains its ancient name. It is situated among the Apennines, at the source of the river Foglia (Pisaurus). [E.H.B]
