Phabiranum
Φαβίρανον
Phabiranum (Φαβίρανον), a place in the country of the Chauci Minores, that is, the district between the Albis and Visurgis (Ptol. 2.11.27), is generally identified with the modern city of Bremen; though some, with more probability, look for its site at Bremervörde. (Wilhelm, Germanien, p. 162.)
