Padarigus

Πάδαργος

Padarigus (Πάδαργος, Arrian, Indic. 100.39), a small stream of Persis, which appears to have flowed into the Persian Gulf near the present Abushír. It is not possible to identify this and some other names mentioned by Arrian from the Journals of Nearchus, owing to the physical changes which have taken place in the coast-line.
