Moab (Μωάβ), vallis, regio, campestria, &c [MOABITAE] The notice of Eusebius may be here introduced (Onomast. s. v. Μωάβ):--A city of Arabia, now called Areopolis. The country also is called Moab, but the city Rabbath Moab.
