Eth. Mardi, Eth. Μάρδος, a branch of this powerful and warlike people were found in Armenia to the E. of Mardastan (lake Ván). (Ptol. 5.13.20; Tac. Ann. 14.23; comp. Anquetil Duperron, Mém. de l'Acad. des Inscr. vol. xlv. p. 87.)
