Hippocoronium
Ἱπποκορώνιον
Hippocoronium (Ἱπποκορώνιον), a city in Crete mentioned by Strabo (x. p.472), which Höck has placed near Hierapytna. Mr. Pashley (Trav. vol. i. p. 62) considers that the modern Apokóirona is a corruption of the ancient name.
