Dampolis
Διάμπολις
Dampolis or DIAMPOLIS (Διάμπολις: Iamboli), a Greek town in the interior of Thrace, to the east of Irenopolis, on the river Tonsus. (Ann. Comn. x. p. 274.) It is probably the same place as the Diopolis of Hierocles (p. 635), and the Diospolis of Malala (ii. p. 167).
