Choana
Χόανα
Choana (Χόανα,, Ptol. 6.2.14), a place in Media. Forbiger suggests that perhaps it is the same as Χαύων, a place mentioned by Diodorus (2.13) as one of those where Semiramis was in the habit of dwelling. It is probably represented by the modern Kan, or Kum.
