Aria

Aria is mentioned by Florez, Ukert, and other writers as a town of Hispania Baetica, on the authority of coins bearing the inscriptions ARIA. CNARIA. CUNBARIA.; but Eckhel regards the name of the place to which these coins belong as uncertain (vol. i. p. 14). Ukert supposes the site of Aria to be at Arizzo, near Seville (vol. i. pt. ii. p. 376; Florez, Med. de Esp. i. p. 156, iii. p. 8).
