Tantalus
the name of the general who succeeded Viriathus and who shortly afterwards submitted to Caepio. He is called Tantamus by Diodorus (Appian, Hisp. 75; Diod. Ecl. xxxii. vol. ii. p. 524, ed. Wess.)
