Meryllus
Μέρυλλος
(Μέρυλλος), a Greek writer, who wrote a work on Boeotia (Plut. Par. Min. 100.14), and another on Italy (ibid. 100.26). In the latter passage of Plutarch, perhaps Dercylus is the correct reading, as Dercylus was the author of a work on Italy. (Vossius, De Hist. Graec. p. 469. ed. Westermann.) [DERCYLUS.]
