Lycus
1. A native of Napl s, who is quoted by Erotianus (Gloss. Hippocr. pp. 66, 214), and who must therefore have lived in or before the former half of the first century after Christ. He appears to have commented on the whole or part of the Hippocratic Collection, as the second book of his commentary on the treatise " De Locis in Homine," is quoted by Erotianus, but none of his writings are still extant. He is also quoted by Pliny (20.83).
