Doris

Δωρίς

(Δωρίς), a Locrian, daughter of Xenetus, wife of the elder, and mother of the younger Dionysius. (Diod. 14.44; Plut. Dio 3.) She died before her husband, who seems to have lamented her lass in one of his tragedies. (Lucian. ad v. Indoct. § 15.)
