Butorides
one of the authors who wrote upon the pyramids of Egypt. From the order in which he is mentioned by Pliny (Plin. Nat. 36.12. s. 17), it would appear that he must have lived after Alexander Polyhistor and before Apion, that is, either in the first century before or the first century after Christ. [ARISTAGORAS.]
