Lex Pesulania
Lex Pesulania seems to have extended to dogs the rule of the Twelve Tables (Inst. 4.9, pr.; Dirksen, Uebersicht, &c. p. 532), that if damage were done by an animal the owner must either surrender it or pay compensation (Paul. Sent. rec. 1.15, 1).
