Lex Flaminia
Lex Flaminia an agrarian law for the distribution of lands in Gaul and Picenum, proposed by C. Flaminius, tribunus plebis (Cic. Brut. 14, 57; Acad. 2.5, 13; de Invent. 2.17, 52; V. Max. 5.4, 5; Plb. 2.21). According to Polybius, who here seems more reliable than Cicero, the date of the law was B.C. 232.
