Achane
ἀχάνη
Achane (ἀχάνη), a Persian and Boeotian measure, equivalent to 45 Attic medimni. (Aristot. ap. Schol. ad Aristoph. Ach. 108, 109; Suid. s. v.) According to Hesychius, a Boeotian ἀχάνη was equal to one Attic medimnus. (Hultsch, Griech. u. Röm. Metrol. pp. 257, 275.)
