Grion

Γρίον

Grion (Γρίον), a chain of mountains running parallel to Mount Latminos, on the western side of the Latmic bay, and extending from the neighbourhood of Miletus to Euromus in Caria. (Strab. xiv. p.635.) Some identified this range with that of PHTHIRA (Hom. Il. 2.868; Steph. B. sub voce φθίρα.)
